Week in Review 12/27/2021-12/31/2021

It was another profitable year for us at SPX Option Trader! We ended 2021 with the following returns for the entire year, +2,308% ROI in our SPX weekly option trading, +1,873% ROI in our SPY weekly option trading, and +194% ROM in our SPX Spread Trader. Our accuracy in forecasting the direction and target levels was right in line with our historic averages for the year. This has been another historic year in the stock market, as we end it at all-time highs. Such activity always makes day trading more difficult. We’ve had more days than usual this past year where we had no trading activity due to volatile market conditions. However, as we use the information provided each day in the SPX Daily Outlook and stay consistent in our trading approach, we are successful.

We ended December with +83% ROI in our SPX weekly option trading, +73% ROI in our SPY weekly option trading, and -32% ROM in our SPX Spread Trader. We ended this past week with +32% ROI in our SPX weekly option trading, +21% ROI in our SPY weekly option trading, and +2% ROM in our SPX Spread Trader.
