It was another profitable month and week for us at SPX Option Trader. We ended June with +377% ROI in SPX Daily Outlook, +305% ROI in SPY Daily Outlook, +410% ROI in SPX Aggressive Trader, +330% ROI in SPY Aggressive Trader, +17% ROI in Late Day Trader, and -88% ROM in SPX Spread Trader. All but the Spread Trader finished profitable for the month.
June did include more no-trade days than normal, but that did not prevent it from being a strong month overall. We never force trades when conditions are unfavorable. We sit out and wait for cleaner setups. Success does not come from chasing every possible move in the market. It comes from trading when conditions are favorable and staying disciplined when they are not.
This past week was shortened due to the July 4th holiday, but it was still another profitable week for most of our strategies. We ended the week with +22% ROI in SPX Daily Outlook, +24% ROI in SPY Daily Outlook, +46% ROI in SPX Aggressive Trader, +31% ROI in SPY Aggressive Trader, +19% ROI in Late Day Trader, and -48% ROM in SPX Spread Trader.
The SPX Daily Outlook has now finished positive for eight consecutive weeks. That is a good reminder of why consistency matters. Not every day produces a trade, not every week is perfect across every strategy, and some strategies will go through weaker stretches. But the long-term goal is to continue applying the same disciplined process through changing market conditions.
The Spread Trader has had a difficult stretch recently, and that is reflected in the weekly and monthly results. We do not hide that. Every strategy will go through periods where market conditions are less favorable. The important thing is to stay disciplined, manage risk, and continue following the process rather than reacting emotionally to short-term performance.
Overall, June was a very strong month for SPX Option Trader, especially in the Daily Outlook and Aggressive Trader strategies. We remain focused on the same approach that has guided us for years: clear market forecasts, disciplined entries, controlled exits, and no forced trades when conditions do not justify the risk.
Remember, the markets are closed on Friday, July 3rd for the federal holiday. We will return on Monday, July 6th. Have a great extended weekend.
We look forward to the week ahead as we continue trading SPX and SPY 0DTE options. The daily entries below are presented as a trade log showing the trading activity for each strategy. Times are referenced to the nearest 5-minute interval.
